    • An electronic closure system has one or more lockable and unlockable closure units, each arranged on an opening element of an object to be secured, at least one authorizing authentication element and a closure control unit with at least one authentication element identification sensor. The at least one authentication element identification sensor has a predetermined detection area, which covers an external detection zone outside the object. The closure control unit produces different closure control commands, related to locking and/or unlocking, based on whether and in what external detection zone authorizing authentication element is detected. The closure control unit contains a sensor system for determining the range of an identified authentication element from the object and, on identification of an authorizing authentication element, automatically produces different closure control commands for the respective closure unit, as a function of the range between the identified authentication element and the object.

    • Component replacement warning system for a transportation mechanism, which monitors the unauthorized removal or installation of a component (2) of the transportation mechanism, wherein the component replacement warning system (1) include a first communication device (3) that is firmly connected to the transportation mechanism, a second communication device (7) that is connected to the component (2), and an electronic authorization verification device that checks whether a component (2), which is connected to the second communication device (7) is installed in the transportation mechanism provided therefor in an authorized fashion. One of the communication devices is a transponder, which transmits a test signal (5) to the other communication device (7 or 3), wherein the other communication device (7 or 3) derives energy from the electromagnetic test signal (5) and generates a test response signal (6) for the transponder (3) so that the electronic authorization verification device detects the unauthorized removal or the installation of an unauthorized component (2), and wherein a warning/actuating device either blocks the component (2) that is installed in the transportation device with regard to its function or transmits an alarm signal.

    • A vehicle security system has an access monitoring device which includes an access control part and/or an electronic immobilizing device which comprises an immobilizer control part, located on the vehicle. An authentication device can be carried by the user for actuation, subject to authentication, of the respective control part on the vehicle via an associated wireless actuation communication channel. Both an actuation communication channel which needs a key, and a wireless actuation communication channel which needs no key (and communicates based on proximity, without manual actuation) are provided for actuating a control part on the vehicle, optionally via one or the other actuation communication channel. The actuation communication channel which requires a key is given priority over the corresponding actuation communication channel which needs no key.
