摘要： An example truck bed on-board storage system includes a bed panel configured to fit into a floor of a truck bed of a truck between the wheel wells of the truck bed. Front wings are hinged to the front sides of the bed panel, the front wings pivoting on the hinge to lay flat in the truck bed in front of the wheel wells. Rear wings are hinged to the rear side of the bed panel, the rear wings pivoting on the hinge to lay flat in the truck bed behind the wheel wells. A plurality of braces apply pressure between the bed rail of the truck bed and the bed panel to secure the bed panel against the floor of the truck bed.

摘要： A biological forceps device is disclosed for the taking of tissue samples from a body. The biopsy forceps device comprises a flexible main coil having a distal end which is stiffer than the majority of the coil, a pair of opposed jaws hingedly disposed on the distal end of the coil, and an actuator having a distal end coupled to the hingedly disposed jaws for effecting articulation of the jaws. Preferably, shrink wrap tubing is placed on the distal end of the coil and acts as the stiffening agent thereof. A stiffer distal end permits the practitioner to press the jaws deeper into the tissue and reduces the jump experienced at the distal end when the coils go from a state of tension (jaws open) to a state of compression (jaws closed), so that a better sample can be obtained.

摘要： A novel, bipolar, electrosurgical instrument is provided with one metal and one ceramic end effector. Current is passed through the metal end effector and through an insulated conduit to the distal tip of the ceramic end effector. A connection at the distal tip of the ceramic end effector allows the current to return along exposed conductive strip which is spaced apart from the metal end effector in cutting action by a gap of approximately 0.020 inches when the ceramic and metal blade supports are brought into contact with tissue, a current flows from the exposed metal strip on the ceramic blade through to the metal blade thereby effecting cauterization, preferably slightly in advance or at the point of cutting between the ceramic and metal blades.
