摘要： A hub for expanding peripheral device connectivity in a computer system is provided. The hub includes a hub body which has a front side, a back side, and peripheral surfaces. The peripheral surfaces include a top peripheral surface, a bottom peripheral surface and a pair of side peripheral surfaces. A plurality of connection ports are defined in the bottom peripheral surface. Each of the plurality of connection ports enables the connection of cables. A stand is defined by a shaft that extends between a first shaft end and a second shaft end. The first and second shaft ends attach to the hub body at each of the pair of side peripheral surfaces to support the hub body in a semi-vertical orientation. The stand includes an integral loop for holding the cables that extend away from the plurality of connection ports.

摘要： A process for forming neutral late transition metal chelates useful as polymerization catalysts comprising contacting a bidentate ligand forming compound that is free of electron-withdrawing groups with a di(tertiary amine) late transition metal reagent in the presence of an inert liquid, an olefinic monomer or a polar liquid selected from nitrites, ethers, aromatic heterocyclic amines, alcohols, nitroalkanes, nitroaromatics or mixtures thereof. The process provides a solid product or a solution of a storage stable transition metal bidentate ligand containing catalyst product which remains active for an extended storage period. Alternately, the present process can be conducted in situ in a polymerization zone of olefinic polymerization.

摘要： A liquid flow meter for directly measuring the velocity of a liquid is disclosed. The liquid flow meter includes a pair transducers arranged facing each other in a conduit through which the liquid flows. The liquid flow meter also includes a transmitter means for causing the transducers to simultaneously transmit an acoustic wave packet directed for reception at the other transducer. A differential receiver means is also included whereby the differential receiver means has inputs each coupled to a corresponding one of the transducers for detecting an acoustic signal received thereby and determining a difference between the two received signals. The difference being related to the velocity of the liquid within the conduit. The transmitter means and the differential receiver means are each matched to the transducers to ensure substantial reciprocity to thereby substantially avoid phase and/or amplitude variations in the received signal. A method for measuring the velocity of a liquid is also disclosed. The method involves transmitting an acoustic wave packet between a pair of transducers that face each other, detecting an acoustic signal received by a pair of amplifiers and determining the time difference between the two received signals where the receiver amplifiers are matched to the transducers through resistive components.
