摘要： A system for distributing packaged medical supplies is provided. The system includes a record server configured to generate medical supply data. The medical supply data includes identification of a physical package containing physical medical supplies, identification of the physical medical supplies, and identification of a remote site the physical package is to be physically moved to. The record server is configured to correlate the package data with verification data received from a remote client. The verification data includes identification of a physical package received by the record client, identification of a patient prescription received by the remote client, and identification of the site of the remote client.

摘要： A radiation-sensitive element in which silver halide is the sole source of image-forming silver containing incorporated processing chemicals is processed in a fluid activator which does not cause the processed element to be tacky. The element includes a fluid-impermeable support having thereon a radiation-sensitive material in a hydrophobic binder which is impermeable to water. Activation of the exposed radiation-sensitive material by the fluid activating agent results in a processed element which is dry to the touch and is substantially free from tackiness when removed from contact with the fluid activator. If a stabilizer precursor is incorporated in the element, the image is unaffected by further exposure to radiation.

摘要： A system for transferring electronic medical files is provided, such as for providing for patient file integrity and continuity in a telemedicine system. The system includes a record server that has a medical record data file for each patient, wherein each patient's medical record data file holds medical record data for that patient. A record client coupled to the record server receives the medical record data file. The medical record data is encapsulated to prevent modification of the medical record data, thus providing for integrity and continuity of the patient's medical record.

摘要： An apparatus for multi-media data organization and transmission is provided. The apparatus has a computer having a microprocessor, a memory storage, a display for providing information to a user, and an input device. An image-recording device is electrically-coupled to the computer for capturing images for storage in the memory storage of the computer. A database, which has a structure defined in the memory storage, receives and stores a plurality of information relating to an event. A program, being executable by the computer, provides a graphical user interface on the display. The program has an imaging module with document and image capture filing and scanning functions. The graphical user interface receives an input from the input device and from the image-recording device. In a further aspect of the invention, the program has a communications module for transmission of the plurality of information relating to the event to a remote location.

摘要： A signal processor processes communication signals for a communication link by extracting amplitude information from the signal and converting this amplitude information into two signal tones. The frequency information of the communication system is transmitted as a constant amplitude signal with two narrowband FM control channels. Each control channel is used to transmit one of the two tones. After the communication signal is received, the two tones are removed from the narrowband FM control channels and are used to generate control signals that will control a variable gain amplifier and transfer the amplitude information back to the constant amplitude signal thereby facilitating the reception of the communication system.

摘要： A portable practice runway is provided with an improvement comprising cross members made of flat spring steel with the central section of the cross member thereby lying flat on the surface allowing the runner's foot to substantially fully engage the ground when the cross member is inadvertently stepped on. The cross member is preferably of one piece with the upstanding side members being formed by bends in the cross member. The upstanding legs have sufficient resiliency to flex when the cross lines are inadvertently stepped on by the runner thereby allowing the runner's foot to more fully engage the ground to prevent injury. In the relaxed position, the cross members are provided with a pre-bow so that when the lines are attached, the center section will be drawn flat with the running surface and the upstanding legs will be positioned substantially vertical. In one embodiment, an integral loop at the top of the vertical legs supports the side members and forms the joint between adjacent sections.

摘要： Photographic elements for providing black-and-white images contain a silver halide emulsion having associated therewith a non-diffusible resorcinol coupler and a color developing agent or a precursor of a color developing agent. The elements can be processed by simple alkaline activation. Since image density is derived at least in part from the resorcinol coupler, lower silver halide coverages can be employed or the silver can be recovered, or both.
