[Class 9 (ii)] Aerial suspensions for anti-aircraft defence comprise a flexible obstruction closed up in a parachute so that it can open while falling by its own weight and descend slowly with the open parachute. The obstruction consists of two or more strips of fabric 6, e.g. upholstery webbing. each connected at one end to a bar 8 and at the other end to a bar 7, the strips being rolled on the bar 7 so that the whole obstruction may be accommodated within a hollow cylinder 1 of cardboard, celluloid, metal &c. The bar 8 is connected by a loop 9 to a cord 10 connected to a cap 2 on the cylinder 1, so that when released the bar 8 may fall clear of the cylinder. The parachute 4, which is carried by ribs 3 pivoted on the cap 2, is folded about the cylinder 1 where it is held by a band 12 able to be snapped by the pull of a cord 13 connected to the bar 7. When the apparatus is launched, by falling down an inclined runway or through an opening in an aircraft, the bar 7 with its fabric rolls falls relatively to the cylinder and tensions the cord 13 which then breaks the band 12, whereupon the parachute opens to check the fall of the bar 7 and thus allow the obstruction to unroll. A pilot parachute may be provided. The fabric obstruction may be coloured to reduce its visibility.

摘要： The invention provides a method and a system that allow users to purchase goods and health-related services over a distributed network, like the Internet. Using a portal or a buyer interface, a user connects to a controller or server through a distributed network either directly or via a service provider. When the user connects to the controller, the controller initiates a validation sequence to identify the portal and the user. When the portal and the user are identified, the controller assigns an access code that defines the user's access rights to the controller. The user can then access fitness, nutrition, and wellness information or purchase goods from the controller, which in one embodiment emulates a web site, or provide access to other linked sites. In addition, the method and system provides users with opportunities to engage in on-line conversations with fitness instructors, coaches, doctors, and others that may be on-line. Moreover, the method and system categorizes users within control groups and develops user improvement plans for improving the users' fitness, nutrition, and/or wellness. The improvement plans, which are based on practical guidelines and advice, are periodically updated by the method and system if the plans are not consistent with the previous expectations. Furthermore, the users are recategorized if the user fails to meet his or her plan.

摘要： Golf club heads are releasably engaged with shafts so that the club heads and shafts can be readily interchanged and/or so that the shaft position with respect to the club head can be readily changed. Assemblies for connecting the club head and shaft may include: (a) a shaft engaging member including a rotation-inhibiting structure; (b) a club head engaging member including a shaft-receiving chamber and a retaining structure for engaging the rotation-inhibiting structure; and (c) a securing system for releasably securing the shaft engaging member with respect to the club head engaging member. The club head and shaft may be changed by releasing the securing system and exchanging the original parts with different parts. Furthermore, the shaft may be bent or otherwise extend at an angle from the shaft engaging member so as to allow adjustment of the shaft position with respect to the club head.
