[Class 100(iii)] Single - type - casting and composing machines.-In matrix positioning mechanfor record-strip controlled single-type casting and composing machines, comprising a primary positioning device having oppositely moving jaws, 3, 4 operating on a selected gauge pin 5 and operated from a single actuator 16, the jaw 3 is coupled to the actuator by an articulated lever 1 between the two parts of which a buffering spring C2 or yielding coupling is arranged, whereby the jaw is pressed firmly' against the pin which is prevented from dropping prematurely in the event of a blow or shock to the lever 1. As applied to the mechanism described in Specification 27476/03, [Class 100], the lever 1 is coupled to a lever 2 carrying the jaw 4 and is linked to the actuator 16, which is rocked by a prime mover 18 embodying a spring coupling box 19 a bar 6 constitutes a secondary gauge, and jaws 9, 10 carried by levers 7, 8 constitute a secondary positioning device coupled by a draw-rod 11 to a frame 29 in which a matrix case 30 is mounted. A second device operates a draw-rod 11a fixed to a slide 31 having a pin-and-slot connection with the matrix case 30, and is operated from the lever 2 by a rod 26, lever 25, equalizing and retracting spring 24 and lever 27. 'The lever 1 is formed in two parts A, B which overlap and are pivoted together at A2. The part A has its end A1 bent up to ride in a slot B1 in the part B on which is a housing C for a bolt C1, the spring C2 being arranged between the inner end of the housing and the head of the bolt. Movement of the lever 1 to the left after the jaw 3 encounters a pin 5 compresses the spring which also takes care of a blow on the lever. An articulated lever may be provided in the second device also.

The dielectric antenna may be a dielectric resonator antenna (DRA), a high dielectric antenna (HDA) or a dielectrically-loaded antenna. The simple construction of the antenna leads to improved manufacturing reliability and efficiency, and allows all functional features of the antenna to be located on one side of a printed circuit board (PCB) substrate.

摘要： The present invention relates to an antenna structure comprising a dielectric pellet and a dielectric substrate with upper and lower surfaces and at least one groundplane, wherein the dielectric pellet is elevated above the upper surface of the dielectric substrate such that the dielectric pellet does not directly contact the dielectric substrate or the groundplane, and wherein the dielectric pellet is provided with a conductive direct feed structure. A radiating antenna component is additionally provided and arranged so as to be excited by the dielectric pellet. Elevating the dielectric antenna component so that it does not directly contact the groundplane or the dielectric substrate significantly improves bandwidth of the antenna as a whole.

摘要： There is disclosed a dielectric resonator antenna adapted to resonate in an EH11 δ resonance mode, and also a method for the manufacture thereof. The desired resonance mode is achieved by careful positioning of a dielectric resonator (2) on a grounded substrate (1), the resonator (2) being fed by way of a microstrip feed line (9) and a slot (6) in the grounded substrate (1). Because the EH11 δ resonance mode has nulls in a direction of longitudinal extension of the dielectric resonator (2), a plurality of antenna can be placed end-to-end so as to form an array with reduced coupling between adjacent antennas and with vertical polarisation, which is desirable for mobile communications applications.

摘要： There is disclosed an antenna device including a dielectric substrate having a first, upper surface and a second, lower surface, a conductive groundplane on the second surface or located between the first and second surfaces. At least two conductive feedlines are formed on the first surface and extend from feed points to predetermined radiating points at edge or cetner parts of the first surface. The groundplane does not extend under the radiating points. The groundplane is configured as to extend between the radiating points and the feedlines are widened at the radiating points and/or are provided with discrete dielectric elements at the radiating points. The antenna device provides broadband performance and good diversity within a small space.
