摘要： The present invention relates to an optical fiber connector in which optical fiber Bragg grating is built. The present invention comprises: an optical fiber cable which comprises a connection portion in contact with a receiving portion of a ferrule having an optical fiber insertion hole from a receiving portion in which a temperature compensation connector is inserted to be fixed, and an optical fiber support portion having the outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of a space portion of the ferrule, protruded from the connection portion in such a way that a space for placing Bragg grating therein is formed with a predetermined interval from an entrance of the ferrule into which an optical fiber is inserted, and in which the Bragg grating is placed in the space portion of the ferrule while allowing an optical fiber to be inserted into an optical fiber insertion hole of the temperature compensation connector, penetrating both ends at the center in an axial direction, and the optical fiber insertion hole of the ferrule; and a socket in which one end is fixed to the ferrule and the other end is fixed to the optical fiber coating of the optical fiber cable.

摘要： In a Wavelength-Division-Multiplexed Passive Optical Network (WDM-PON) utili zing a conventional downstream optical signal reusing method, there is an inventory pro blem that different optical transmitter types need to be provided for the operation, mana gement, replacement, etc. of a system. A WDM-PON system according to the present invention, includes: a seed light (SL) unit generating a seed light whose wavelength int ervals and center wavelengths are adjusted using at least one seed light source; an opti cal line terminal (OLT) receiving the wavelength-multiplexed seed light from the seed lig ht unit, transmitting a downstream optical signal to a subscriber of the WDM-PON, and r eceiving a upstream optical signal from the subscriber; and an optical network unit (ON U) receiving the downstream optical signal from the OLT, flattening and modulating the downstream optical signal with upstream data so that the downstream optical signal is r eused for carrying upstream data. It is possible to improve the quality and reliability of d ownstream transmission by sufficiently increasing an extinction ratio, and improve the q uality and reliability of upstream transmission by sufficiently flattening an input downstre am optical signal in a semiconductor optical amplifier.
