    • The present invention is made for providing an air conditioner for a vehicle, in which a filter can be moved where the filter is not exposed to air when offensive odor is not emitted, thereby extending the service life of the filter. The air conditioner for a vehicle of the invention comprises: an air conditioner case having an evaporator and a heat core installed therein and having a blower installed at an inlet thereof; a movable filter moving between an air-filtering location and an air-non-filtering location of the air conditioner case; a judging means judging whether air blown by the blower inside the air conditioner case is contaminated; and a driving means moving the movable filter to the air- filtering location when the judging means determines that the air is contaminated and to the air- non-filtering location when the judging means determines that the air is not contaminated. Therefore, when it is determined that the air is contaminated, the movable filter 40 can be moved to the air-filtering location. Also, when it is determined that the air is released from the contamination, the movable filter 40 can be moved to the air-non-filtering location, so that the movable filter is not exposed to the air.

The air conditioning system includes an air conditioning case, an evaporator for cooling an air blown through an internal passageway of the air conditioning case, and an ionizer including a negative ion discharge electrode and a positive ion discharge electrode for emitting negative ions and positive ions toward the evaporator. The electrodes are arranged on an upstream side of the evaporator in a spaced-apart relationship with each other. The positive ion discharge electrode has an ion generation portion formed in a smaller number than the number of an ion generation portion of the negative ion discharge electrode so that the quantity of positive ions generated in the positive ion discharge electrode can be smaller than the quantity of negative ions generated in the negative ion discharge electrode.

    • The present invention relates to an air freshener generator for the air conditioning apparatus of a vehicle wherein different types of air fresheners charged into a cartridge are generated into the vehicle chamber. The disclosed invention comprises a body (100) wherein an inlet tube (103) and an outlet tube (104) are interfaced, and ball plungers (106) are equipped at a certain interval along the circumference of said inlet tube (103) and outlet tube (104); a cartridge (200) that combines with said body (100), where within is formed at least one partitioning wall to be charged with at least one air freshener, and whereon are formed individual through-holes (202); and an actuator (300) that rotates said cartridge (200) at a certain angle. Therefore, when the cartridge (200) undergoes rotation at a certain angle, air is supplied to the through-hole (202) that faces said inlet tube (103) so that one type of air freshener is discharged unmixed into the through-hole (202) that faces said outlet tube (104).
