Upon cooking rice, in a state as a rice cooker case lid 1b mounted with the high pressure resistant pot lid 3h is closed, a high pressure resistant pot handle 2hb projected to the right side face of the rice cooker is moved to a cooking position 2hba (left side of Fig.1, Fig.2, Fig.3) of the high pressure resistant pot handle (pot is horizontally rotated about 30°) to engage and fix the pot engaging part and the lid engaging part.
