摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture well polished half-split chopsticks of high quality by grinding the surfaces of chopsticks by a reversible roll when chopsticks exhausted by a chopsticks chamfering machine are transported and the processes are going to be completed. CONSTITUTION:In this automatic chopstick polishing device, a chopstick chamfering machine 2 is provided at its products exhaust hole 2A with a leftward feed roll 4, grinding roll 5 are rightward feed roll 6 in the sequence as here named from the exhaust hole side centering on the traveling direction 2B of the chopsticks 3 exhausted out of this hole 2A. These feed rolls 4, 6 are composed of a pair of rolling members 4A, 4B, 6A, 6B situated up and down, and these rolling members rotate in the same direction as the chopsticks, traveling direction. The roll 5 is composed of a pair of rolling members 5A, 5B, situated up and down, which rotate in the opposite direction to the chopsticks' traveling direction. By such an arrangement, chopsticks can be well polished to provide them with higher quality as goods.

摘要： An aromatic polyester copolymer consisting of 10 to 90 mol % of a recurring unit of the formula: ##STR1## and 90 to 10 mol % of a recurring unit of the formula: ##STR2## and having a logarithmic viscosity number of at least 0.3 as measured in a mixture of phenol and tetrachloroethane (6:4 in weight ratio) at a concentration of 1 g/100 cc at 25.degree. C. and having a terminal carboxyl content of about 80 mol eq./ton or less. This aromatic polyester copolymer has high durability under dry and moist heat as well as high resistance to water crazing and hence can be fabricated into useful articles by various molding techniques.
