    • An image processing apparatus and method includes a light source that beams light toward a subject, a first camera that is spaced apart from the light source by more than a predetermined distance and senses light reflected from the subject, and a calculation unit that generates depth information based on reflected light sensed by the first camera, and corrects distortion of the depth information based on at least one of an angle of view of the first camera, a distance between the light source and the first camera, and a distance between the light source and the subject. When the camera generating the depth information and the light source are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance, distorted information caused by a distance difference between the light source and the camera thereby is corrected.

    • Disclosed herein are a method and an apparatus for inspecting solar cells. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a method for inspecting solar cells includes: (a) preparing solar cells; (b) obtaining a photoluminescence image(s) by irradiating light to the prepared solar cells; and (c) determining a conversion efficiency rating of each solar cell according to brightness of the obtained image. Further, an apparatus for inspecting solar cells includes a stage unit that transfers solar cells; a light source unit that irradiates light to a surface of the solar cell transferred through the stage unit; a camera unit that obtains a photoluminescence image according to the light irradiated from the light source unit; and an efficiency determination unit that determines a conversion efficiency rating of each solar cell based on brightness of an image obtained from the camera unit according to preset programs.

    • There is provided an apparatus for processing an on-screen display (OSD), the apparatus including: a buffer unit receiving first dynamic guideline image information, a color determining unit determining colors for previously divided sections included in the first dynamic guideline image information from the buffering unit, and an image synthesizing unit synthesizing second dynamic guideline image information having the colors for each of the sections, determined by the color determining unit with an image from a camera. With the apparatus for processing an OSD, a user freely sets colors of a warning message, a static guideline, and a dynamic guideline, whereby the warning message, the static guideline, and the dynamic guideline can be displayed on a screen without obscuring a rearview image. In addition, a dynamic guideline can be set as different colors according to sections divided into distances from the rear of a vehicle and an image can be continuously displayed. Further, the camera module can be reprogrammed.

    • The present invention relates to an image processing device and a method for processing an image. The image processing device includes a brightness improvement unit to improve a brightness of inputted images by increasing a brightness of a dark image more darker than a knee point among inputted images with reference to a predetermined knee point and decreasing a brightness of an image more brighter than the knee point; and a contrast improvement unit to improve a contrast of the image outputted from the brightness improvement unit. The image processing device and the method for processing the image can reduce a distortion phenomenon and a saturation phenomenon or the like by reflecting the characteristics of images during the brightness improvement and contrast improvement of the images.
