A window bar assembly for use in a window having a single pane (14 Fig. 1) retained in a wooden frame (10) so as to divide the surface into imitation panes of smaller size and which assembly can be disassembled for cleaning the window, comprises a plurality of hollow vertical bars 18, of plastics e.g. styrene arranged in a plurality of vertically juxtaposed pairs on each side of and in contact with a similar horizontal bar 20, the bars of a pair being connected by pins 22 passing through the horizontal bar 20 and the ends of all the bars being connected to the surround 12 and the window frame apertured by means of collared pins 24, one end 26 of which penetrates the frame and the other end 28 enters the hollow rod to an extent limited by the collar 30. The horizontal bar 20 may be in parts with complementary abutting ends and secured by a pin with multi-pointed ends and fins for cutting slightly into the plastics of the rod. The pins 22 may also be pointed and provided with fins.

摘要： A ventilator adapted for wall mounting use in ventilating buildings such as agricultural buildings and the like used for housing livestock, and having inlet and exhaust duct means, located one above the other, and adapted to be mounted in the wall of the barn so as to provide for horizontal transfer of air into and out of the barn, inlet and exhaust fan means, the inlet fan means being located in the inlet duct and the exhaust fan means being located in the exhaust duct, operable simultaneously to blow air in their respective directions in and out of the barn, opening means extending between said inlet and exhaust ducts for transferring air from the exhaust duct back into the inlet duct, and movable air transfer duct means mounted between said inlet and exhaust ducts, and movable in said opening means between a fresh air intake position corresponding to substantially no transfer of air between the two said ducts, and an exhaust air recycle position corresponding to substantially total transfer of exhaust air back into the inlet duct, and power operated means for moving said air transfer duct means between said two positions, and thermo-sensitive means for controlling said power operated means to move said air transfer duct means into any desired position.
