    • The invention relates to a vibration generator which is used in devices, such as mobile phones, requiring a vibration mode. More specifically, the invention relates to a horizontal vibration type vibration generator which includes a casing that is open on one surface thereof, a vibration part having a weight provided inside the casing, and a spring mounted inside the casing, and which produces horizontal vibration by using the phenomenon of resonance which occurs by causing oscillation in an electromagnetic force having the same frequency as the intrinsic vibration frequency of the spring, and which solves the problem of a reduction in the life span of the vibration generator due to mechanical friction as seen in existing mechanical vibration generators, and generates a large vibration force despite having a thin construction unachievable in a vertical moving type vibration generator. The invention also relates to a production method of the vibration generator.

    • Disclosed herein is a vibration generator which is used to embody vibration for signal reception indication or a haptic function of wireless communication devices such as mobile phones. The vibration generator includes a casing which has a space therein, a stator which is provided in the casing and is provided with a coil along which current flows, a vibrator which is provided in the casing and is horizontally moved by electromagnetic force, an elastic body which is fixed at a first end thereof to the casing and fixed at a second end thereof to the vibrator, and a residual vibration reducer which is provided between the vibrator and the casing to absorb vibration of the vibrator. Therefore, after the vibration of the vibrator is stopped, the time it takes to stop movement of the vibrator can be markedly reduced.

In the step motor, coupling holes are formed in the central portions of both sides of a casing unit thereof, a bushing is press-fitted or inserted into an associated coupling hole, and a ring member is press-fitted over the outer circumference of the bushing protruding outward from the coupling hole such that the bushing is secured to the casing unit, thus preventing the bushing from becoming separated from the casing unit.
