摘要： A micropump configured to control flow of an insulation fluid includes: a rectangular channel 370 configured to have a rectangular shape in which a movement passage of the insulation fluid; a planar electrode forming section 310 configured to be formed inside the rectangular channel and have a planar shape for applying an electric field; an inflow section 320 configured such that the insulation fluid flows in; and an outflow section 330 configured such that the insulation fluid flows out. Since an insulation fluid with low conductivity in a range of 10−10 to 10−12 S/m is transported with a simple technical structure without using a complicated component, it is possible to obtain the advantage of cost saving and application to various minute dynamics devices.

摘要： A fluid stabilizing control method of an axial compressor is provided, which includes driving to drive the axial impeller, and stall controlling to suppress or prevent an occurrence of a stall that may transpire during rotation of the axial impeller by supplying highly-pressurized compressed air into the casing through a stall controller according to a predetermined time and volume. Accordingly, a stall may be suppressed or prevented, the occurrence of a stall that may transpire when a threshold point is exceeded by an unexpected event during driving in a low-flow high-pressure section on a performance curve, in which efficiency is high. Additionally, since an air injection method for suppressing the stall is properly applied, an amount of power expended for the stall control may be reduced while supply of the high-pressure compressed air is minimized, thereby achieving economically feasible stall control.

摘要： In a backlight assembly and a display apparatus having the backlight assembly, a plurality of lamps are housed in a housing having grounded sidewalls, where each of the lamps has at least one bend and series circuits are formed by respective sets of two or more of the bent lamps; where each series connected set of lamps is driven by an AC driving voltage of sufficient magnitude to light the series connected set of lamps, the AC driving voltage being produced by an AC step-up transformer circuit and where each series connected set has its series circuit formed by a lamp-to-lamp connection made through a grounded sidewall of the container. High and low voltage portions of each series connected set of lamps are positioned to reduce electrostatic discharge as between high voltage portions of the series and a nearby grounded sidewall of the container.
