摘要： A container having a rotatable dispenser closure is disclosed. The container has a body portion and a closure portion. The container body has at its upper end a closure securing section that is folded inwardly and downwardly so that it is in contact with the inner surface of the body sidewall. The closure includes a sidewall having a lower section, an upper section and a first rim. The lower section of the closure sidewall fits snugly against the interior of the body sidewall below the closure securing section, the upper section of the closure sidewall engages the closure securing section, and the first rim of the closure sidewall rests on the top of the closure securing section. In this manner, the closure is coupled to the container body so that the closure is prevented from upward or downward movement but not axial rotation. Both the body sidewall and the closure sidewall contain apertures that are positioned so that they may be aligned when the closure is rotated. With the apertures aligned, product stored inside the container may be poured from the container.

When positioned on the receptacle, the ends of the sleeve overlap, and the outer overlapping portion is bonded or secured to at least one separation section within an inner overlapped portion. The separation section is defined at least partially by a scored line, with the scored line being a cut that penetrates a top portion of the sleeve. The sleeve is removed by pulling the outer edge of the sleeve radially outward thereby separating the top portion of the sleeve at the separation section from the remaining portion of the sleeve.

摘要： A method of sealing a plug with a food sauce dispensing cartridge enables leak proof operation of the dispensing cartridge at the site of the plug. The plug, having a circumferential edge, is positioned within the dispensing cartridge and oriented such that the edge is adjacent to the cartridge sidewall. A layer of hot melt adhesive is then applied to the circumferential edge and flows into a gap created between the plug and the cartridge sidewall at a sidesearn formed by an overlap region of the cartridge sidewall. The hot melt adhesive subsequently bonds the plug to the cartridge sidewall and prevents food sauce from moving past the circumferential edge of the plug and out of a containment region.

摘要： A tamper evident container lid is provided that includes a lid body configured to cover the opening of a base container having a top rim. The lid body has a skirt extending therefrom. The skirt has an annular score line and an annular fold line extending therearound. An outer band of the skirt extends between the score line and the fold line, and an inner band is folded inwardly to be in opposing relation to the outer band and extends upwardly from the fold line to an upper free edge. When the container lid is sufficiently applied to the base container such that the free edge slides downwardly past a top rim of the container, achieving a proper closure, an attempt to remove the lid will cause a plurality of sections of the inner band to engage the top rim and impede removal of the lid from the container.
