    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tester 10 for measuring hair curls, which measures the degree of a hair curl K produced by permanent waving, i.e. degree of permanent waving, and indicates objective numerical values.
      SOLUTION: The tester includes: hair length input sections 13 and 14 for inputting the length L of hair; hair curl diameter-measuring section 16 and 17 for measuring and outputting the diameter of the hair curl K; a calculation section 20 for calculating the number N of curls of the hair curl K based on the input length L of the hair and the measured diameter of the hair curl K; and a display section 12 for indicating the measured diameter of the hair curl K, and the number N of curls of the hair curl K which is calculated by the calculation section 20. Further, the tester includes the display section 20 for indicating the input length L of the hair. Still further, the tester includes: the curl-measuring sections 16 and 17 for measuring the width W and the height H of the hair curl K; the calculation section 20 for calculating the ratio between the measured width W and the measured height H of the hair curl; and the display section 20 for indicating the ratio H/W of the height H to the width W of the hair curl K which is calculated by the calculation section 20.

    • This invention is to provide a multipole connecting terminal which can join a plurality of electric cables in the same direction. The multipole connecting terminal comprises first and second terminal connecting portions 40a and 40b formed on the opposite sides of a first strip piece 21A of a metal plate 20 and third and fourth terminal connecting portions 40c and 40d formed on a second strip piece 21B bent toward the reverse side of the first strip piece 21A.
