    • PURPOSE: To provide the titled filter made easy in the regeneration of a filter material, in dust collection by the filter material and the filtering orifices provided to the surface of a rotary wall, by a method wherein the filter material is formed of flexible fine bristle or thin cloth and a filtering surface is formed in the normal direction stream of a fluid to be purified while said filter material is floated in the reverse direction stream thereof.
      CONSTITUTION: The fluid to be purified sucked by a suction fan passes through a flexible filter material comprising a large number of fine bristles or thin filter cloth and the filtering orifices 3 thereof from a suction port 12 and is filtered by the normal direction stream A
      1 and the suction stream A
      2 of a rotary wall surface 1 while filtered air is exhausted from an exhaust port 13. When the rotary wall surface 1 is rotated to a reverse direction, the flexible filter material is turned over based on a support point by a reverse direction stream B
      1 and a blow-out stream B
      2 to shake off adhered substances 5. By this mechanism, the filtering surface 4 can be regenerated by extremely short-time reverse rotation and good dust collection can be performed.

    • PURPOSE: To provide the titled dust collecting apparatus of which the machine material is brought to long life and easily regenerated, constituted of such a mechanism that a part of the floating substance in the revolving fluid in a dust removing chamber is caught by a barrier plate and the remainder is filtered by the filter material of a rotary cylinder while the flexible filter material is floated by the reverse rotation of the cylinder to clean the same.
      CONSTITUTION: The fluid to be purified sucked by a suction fan 13 is flowed into a dust removing chamber 1 from a suction port 14 in a revolving state and the relatively heavy floated substance therein is centrifugally caught by a barrier plate 15. The remaining floating substance is filtered by the filter material 9 and the filtering orifices 8 provided to a rotary cylinder 6. The cleaning of the filtering surface 5 is performed by the floating of the flexible filter material 9 by the reverse air stream generated by the reverse rotation of the cylinder 6. Because the relatively heavy floating substance is preliminarily removed to prevent the damage of the filtering surface 5 which is, in turn, cleaned by extremely short-time reverse rotation, the life of the apparatus is extended and is always kept in excellent state.

By this mechanism, sufficiently high water collecting capacity can be developed and remarkable energy conservation is also achieved.
