摘要： An image pickup unit includes a dioptric system that reflects a luminous flux of an optical image incident on an optical lens group and performs optical path conversion, an image sensor in a bare state that is joined to the dioptric system, and includes a light receiving element that forms the optical image, and a light shielding member that is placed to be opposed to and cover at least surfaces around an optical axis of the optical lens group, except for a joining surface of the dioptric system to the image sensor, so that an air gap apart from the image sensor by a predetermined distance is provided, shields incidence of a harmful light onto the light receiving element, and is formed from a metal thin film.

摘要： An image pickup apparatus has a heater device including a heater and a temperature sensor. The heater device is arranged outside the effective light beam range of an objective optical system, with a predetermined air gap between the heater device and an inner circumferential surface of a rigid member that holds a cover glass. The heater device is pressed to the cover glass by an elastic member disposed at an outer circumferential portion of a protruding frame that holds a lens at a distal end. An electrical connection portion of the heater and an electrical connection portion of the temperature sensor of the image pickup apparatus are disposed facing each other with respect to an optical axis, on a proximal end side that is further to the rear than a distal end face of a lens on a distal end side of a front group lens unit that is a side on which a height of an effective light beam of the objective optical system is relatively low.

摘要： An image pickup unit according to the present invention, includes a solid-state image pickup device provided with a light receiving portion for receiving photographing light refracted and reflected by a reflection surface of an optical reflection member. The image pickup unit also includes a protection member which is surface-joined to and to protect at least the area of an effective reflection surface within the reflection surface by which the photographing light is refracted and made incident on the light receiving portion. Thereby, when the image pickup unit is provided in an electronic endoscope including the optical component for refracting and reflecting the photographing light, it is possible to improve the assembling property of the image pickup unit including the optical component, and possible to prevent the optical component from being damaged under various environment.
