    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power generating apparatus that generates electric power using updraft produced in a cylinder.SOLUTION: An in-cylinder updraft power generator includes a vertical cylinder 1 installed upright with a surface thereof made of solar light heat absorbing material, an intake port 2 provided near to a bottom of the vertical cylinder 1, a rotary exhaust port 3 provided on an upper end portion, a windbreak wall 7 provided to surround the vertical cylinder 1 on the periphery, in the interior, an electric heater 4 mounted on a lower portion, an exhaust fan 5 mounted on an upper portion, and a power generating unit 8 disposed consecutively in vertical multiple stages therebetween. The power generating unit 8 is constituted by (a) a rotating blade 9 with a length equal to an end portion reaching position close to inner circumferential wall surface of the vertical cylinder 1, (b) a power generator 11 interconnected to a rotating shaft 10 via a reduction gear at a lower portion of the rotating blade 9, (c) a supporting member that fixes the power generator, and pivotally supports the rotating shaft of the rotating blade, (d) and an air stream throttling member 12 in a tapered cylindrical shape, disposed below the rotating blade 9, with a periphery of a lower portion thereof being sealable with the inner circumferential wall surface of the vertical cylinder 1, and an upper portion thereof being accessible to the end of the rotating blade 9.

    • PURPOSE: To enable support of bent optical fibers without any aid of another member by mixing into a bundle, plural optical fibers having each metal-plated surface or metal vapor-deposited surface with plural metallic wires similar in diameter to each fiber, and covering them into a cable.
      CONSTITUTION: A single optical fiber A is prepared by one transparent fiber core 1 made of acrylic resin, forming a sheath-shaped coat layer 2 of a resin lower in light refractive index than the core 1 around it, plating the outer circumference of the layer 2 with a metal or vapor depositing a metal on it to form a metal coated layer 3. Said plural optical fibers A are mixed with plural metallic wires B each similar in diameter to each fiber A and flexible and capable of retaining a bent form, bundled, and coated with an outer cover C to form a cable. A bundle composed of optical fibers alone immediately restores to the initial form when it is bent with outer force and fixed with a support and released from it, but on the contrary, the presence of the metal wires enables the cable to retain a bent state, thus stabilizing a bent state and greatly facilitating its arranging operation.

SOLUTION: This program supports formation of a puzzle game problem by applying a numeric value and an arithmetic operation pattern so that a vertical four-arithmetic operation result is for example 10, a horizontal four-arithmetic operation result is for example 10, and a diagonal four arithmetic operation result is for example 10, giving a numeric value and a blank which give hints, and outputting a result as image data.
