    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game board and pieces which allow even an aged person or an amblyope to see the size of numbers very well, permit the movement of an arm in addition to that of fingers, and allow even a plurality of players to play a game.
      SOLUTION: The Sudoku(R) game board and pieces are inexpensively created in light weight without requiring a power source like a game machine and is not accidentally damaged due to falling, etc., and used at any time and indefinitely like Japanese chess or the game of go. The board has diagonal lines, so that the player also plays a game by filling in the numbers from one to nine on the diagonal dashed lines in addition to a normal rule.

    • According to one embodiment, a lighting device includes a control circuit that includes a threshold for a case where a pair of the illumination lamps are connected in series between a positive output end and a negative output end of a power supply circuit, and a threshold for a case where one illumination lamp is connected between the positive output end and the negative output end of the power supply circuit. The control circuit determines the connected lamp number of the illumination lamps to a direct-current power supply device based on a voltage between the positive output end and the negative output end of the power supply circuit and a voltage between a non-potential connection end and the positive output end or the negative output end, and selects the threshold corresponding to the connected lamp number to control the direct-current power supply device.

    • The LED lighting device includes a lighting circuit unit, a current detecting unit, a voltage detecting unit, and a control unit. The lighting circuit unit is adapted in use to be connected to a lamp socket to be connected to a LED lamp, and is configured to provide an output voltage in the form of a DC voltage to the lamp socket in a manner to turn on the LED lamp. The current detecting unit is configured to detect an output current which is caused by the output voltage and is supplied from said lighting circuit unit to said lamp socket. The voltage detecting unit is configured to detect the output voltage of said lighting circuit unit. The control unit configured to control the lighting circuit unit. The control unit is configured to perform constant-current control of control the lighting circuit unit in a manner to regulate the output voltage such that the output current is identical to a target value while keeping the output voltage not higher than a maximum-load voltage, when the output current detected by the current detecting unit is not less than a predetermined threshold value, and is configured to perform no-load control of controlling the lighting circuit unit in a manner to regulate the output voltage such that the output voltage is kept identical to a no-load voltage higher than the maximum-load voltage, when the output current detected by the current detecting unit is less than the predetermined threshold value.
