    • An equalizer for automatically equalizing a high-frequency power amplifier having a reference carrier generator which generates a reference carrier from a measured input signal of the high-frequency power amplifier, and a first synchronous demodulator while generating an input envelope curve from the measured input signal and from the reference carrier. A second synchronous demodulator which generates an in-phase component of an output envelope curve from the measured output signal of the high-frequency power amplifier and from the reference carrier, as well as a phase shifter which shifts the phase of the reference carrier 90° are also provided. A third synchronous demodulator generates a quadrature component of the output envelope curve from the measured output signal of the high-frequency power amplifier and from the reference carrier that has been shifted 90° in phase. A controller generates an amplitude correction control signal and/or a phase correction control signal from the input envelope curve, the in-phase component of the output envelope curve and/or the quadrature component of the output envelope curve. The control characteristic and/or phase characteristic of a predistorter is adjusted inversely to the control characteristic and/or phase characteristic of the high-frequency power amplifier by the amplitude correction factor and the phase correction factor.

    • A safety ski binding part includes a base plate having a cam member supported thereon, a sole holder supported on the base plate for pivotal movement around a vertical axis and a transverse horizontal axis, the sole holder having a shoulder thereon. A lever supported on the base plate for pivotal movement about a transverse axis has a nose engageable with the shoulder. A transversely extending cam surface is provided which is engageable with the cam member. A release spring biases the lever in a direction urging the nose into engagement with the shoulder and a further spring urges the cam member into engagement with the cam surface.

One of the locking parts has a vertical recess which receives the other locking part in the closed position of the sole holder.

    • An apparatus for facilitating a longitudinal adjustment of ski-binding parts having a guide rail adapted to be fastened on the ski and being provided with two laterally spaced guide tracks. The guide rail has a toothed bar which extends in longitudinal direction of the apparatus, with which toothed bar is associated a locking member which is provided on a slide plate. The slide plate is covered by a guide plate which is supported on the guide rail and which carries a ski-binding part. In each of the guide plate and slide plate there is arranged a recess, and if desired, a shoulder for the two compression springs which bias the guide plate. An extension member is operatively connected to the slide plate for facilitating a movement of the locking member on the slide plate against the force of the compression springs to effect a disengagement from the toothed bar on the guide rail. The extension member extends in transverse direction of the apparatus and is adapted to be manually operated.

    • A safety ski binding has a bearing block with a locking projection, and a sole holder is supported on the bearing block for pivotal movement between a downhill skiing position and a released position. A locking part pivotally supported on the sole holder has a cam which engages the locking projection and has a surface on the opposite side thereof. a spring housing has one end pivotally supported on the bearing block and has an opening in the opposite end. A piston slidably supported in the spring housing has a piston rod which extends through the opening and slidably engages the surface on the locking part. A spring disposed in the spring housing urges the piston toward the locking part, thereby urging the cam against the locking projection. A mechanism is provided to obstruct sliding movement of the piston rod along the locking part surface from a first location thereon to a second location in which the effect of the spring on the locking part is reduced or absent. A manually actuable mechanism is provided for temporarily rendering the obstructing mechanism ineffective.
