    • A rashel machine is described for the production of a knitted fabric, especially on a double bar or multi-bar rashel machine which includes a knitting needle bar and a guide bar assemblage having several guide bars therein. The guide bar assemblage is supported on a shaft that has a rotationaL axis that can be adjusted relative to the knitting needle bar essentially in the direction of its stroke movement. According to the invention, the rotational axis is adjustable between a first position and a second position by way of an adjustment mechanism, whereby in a first position a threading-in of a thread into the hole of the guide needle is easily possible even with guide bars lying on the inside without having to disconnect the guide bars lying on the outside of the guide bar assemblage. Furthermore, the rotational axis is adjustable from its second position by way of the adjustment mechanism into a knitting-technical predetermined position wherein the guide bar assemblage can finely be adjusted with respect to the knitting needle bar.

    • A method of processing a source set of raw events of unknown event types to a target set of typed events, each raw event being a package of data items containing data values of detectable data types, includes the steps of: providing a library of event type objects each of which relates to a given event type and contains a structured set of attributes of given data types; for each raw event, determining at least one event type object in the library which meets the following criteria: (i) the data items of the raw event can each be mapped to one of the attributes of said event type object, and (ii) the detected data types of the raw event each match the given data type of the respective attribute mapped; and generating a typed event from the raw event by structuring the data values of the raw event in the form of the event type object determined.

The pinion has a small addendum and a large effective dedendum if it is the driver or a large addendum and small useful dedendum if driven, the profiles of the gear combination being complementary in respect of the tooth sides involved in power transmission. There is an addendum modification which is positive for the pinion in a stepdown combination but negative in a step-up combination, and positive for the wheel in a step-up combination. The pressure angle preferably is between 15 degrees and 25 degrees for a step-down combination and from 25 degrees to 35 degrees for a step-up combination.
