摘要： A scheme for graphical user interface using a polygonal-line-shaped slider that enables a user to intuitively manipulate-and playback spatio-temporal media data such as video data and animation data without deteriorating the temporal continuity of the data in interactive manipulation and playback of the spatio-temporal media data is disclosed. In this scheme, the slider is composed of a polygonal line composed of at least one segment and a coordinate indicator that is moved along the polygonal line. Data corresponding to coordinates specified by the coordinate indicator is entered. The apparatus according to present invention stores the coordinates of vertexes of the polygonal line, stores input coordinates, maps the input coordinates onto a point on the polygonal line, and positions the coordinate indicator at the point.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for three-dimensional holographic display suitable for moving object display are disclosed. At least one hologram of a display target object is displayed on a display device, and a non-scattered light is irradiated onto the display device to produce a scattered light. Then the scattered light from the display device as an object light of the display target object and the non-scattered light as a reference light are irradiated simultaneously at different incident angles onto a photorefractive medium having a photorefractive effect, and interference fringes generated by the object light and the reference light are recorded in the photorefractive medium. Then, the three-dimensional image is displayed by irradiating only the non-scattered light onto the photorefractive medium so as to reproduce a holographic image corresponding to the interference fringes recorded in the photorefractive medium.

摘要： A private communication system using bus type transmission path, in which a plurality of communication terminal devices for carrying out communications and a system main device for exchanging communications from the communication terminal devices are connected by upward and downward digital transmission paths for transmitting data in forms of upward and downward transmission frames formed by a plurality of cells in fixed length. The system main device determines an allocation of idle cells in each upward transmission frame to a communication from each communication terminal device according to a communication request made by each communication terminal device, and transmits a notification for the determined allocation to each communication terminal device by using an idle cell among the cells in each downward transmission frame, such that each communication terminal device recognizes allocated cells on the upward digital transmission path available for the communication from each communication terminal device according to the notification transmitted through the downward digital transmission path.
