A number of compartments are provided along a peripheral portion of the upper surface of the second element. Each compartment is marked by indicia, and includes a sloped bottom wall, an open top, and an open outer end facing the peripheral sidewall so the contents loaded within the dispenser are contained within the compartments by the peripheral sidewall. An outlet is formed through the peripheral sidewall, and a tray member extends from the peripheral sidewall proximate to the outlet so the contents contained within a selected compartment are dispensed onto and retained by a retaining portion of the tray member when the second element is rotated relative to the first element. A transparent cover member that is moveable between a closed position and an open position is attached to the second element by hinges.

摘要： A safety arrangement for a gasoline dispensing station equipped with a vapor recovery system. Gasoline vapors displaced from a motor vehicle fuel tank during filling are collected through the dispensing nozzle, and are directed first through a flexible hose attached to the nozzle and then through a pipe to an underground storage system. A preferred embodiment of a break-away valve is placed in the pipe near where it enters the ground such that in the event of an accident, as by an automobile running over the gasoline dispensing console, the break-away valve will automatically close to shut off the vapor recovery system. This minimizes the danger of an explosion or fire possibly caused by an open vapor recovery system.

摘要： A dispenser for flowable materials, such as toothpaste, includes a hollow barrel in the form of a tube open at its lower end and closed at its upper end with the flowable material being inserted in the tube. A plunger which is also in the form of a hollow tube having a closed upper end, is telescopically arranged in the barrel. A seal is effected by a hinged peripheral rim on the outer surface of the piston near its upper end. The flow of the material forces the peripheral rim to pivot into sealing contact with the inner surface of the barrel.

摘要： A pressure stabilizer device designed to be placed on the vent line of underground gasoline storage tanks in a service station. The pressure stabilizer is designed to allow inbreathing in the event a vacuum develops in the underground storage system or outbreathing in the event the pressure becomes too great. The stabilizer has an open aperture of a predetermined size to allow a given amount of inbreathing or outbreathing. The stabilizer also includes a gravity operated valve arrangement which opens in response to a given high pressure within the underground storage system to increase the aperture size of the stabilizer and allow a pressure release.
