    • A method and apparatus for sending user plane traffic via a node located between a base station and a Serving Gateway in a mobile telecommunications network. The base station receives a message containing tunneling protocol information identifying the Serving Gateway. It sends a second message towards the node, the second message including tunneling protocol information identifying the base station and the Serving Gateway. The base station receives a third message from the node, the third message including tunneling protocol information for the base station to use towards the node, and tunneling protocol information for the Serving Gateway to use towards the node. A fourth message is sent, which includes tunneling protocol information for the Serving Gateway to use towards the node. User plane traffic can then be sent between the base station and the Serving Gateway via the node.

    • A Network Reporting Entity (NRE) and a User Equipment (UE) as well as a respective method therein for use in a wireless communication network for enabling controlling data transfer between the UE and a network cache are provided. The NRE receives, from the UE, a request to start reporting network status and transmits, to the UE, information regarding the status of the network, the information pertaining to whether network condition is in a state where a data transfer is preferred or not, wherein the NRE obtains the information regarding the status of the network from the Network Conditions Information Entity (NCIE). In this manner, the UE is enabled to control the data transfer between the UE and the network cache.

    • The present invention relates to radio transmission of bursts in for example a TDMA cellular radio system. The burst starts with a ramping up period, ends with a corresponding ramping down ramping down period and with the pay-load information therebetween. The ramp form is created in a ramp generator (13) which gives a multiplication value to multiply the digital information to be transmitted in multipliers (15, 16). The multiplied values are converted into analogue form and amplified before being transferred to the antenna (21). Output power and temperature of the transmitting equipment are measured (22, 23) and used to update the output power levels during the next burst.
