    • The present invention relates to an ejector for generating negative pressure having a pressure connection discharging into a propellant nozzle, and having a suction connection which discharges via a suction conduit into a receiver nozzle. The propellant nozzle and the receiver nozzle are provided in a suction valve with a first blocking piston for the propellant nozzle. A work conduit communicating with the pressure connection and a control conduit communicating with the pressure connection are provided and a blow conduit discharging via a blow valve into the suction connection communicates with a second blocking piston, and the piston position of the second blocking piston of the blow valve being triggerable via the control conduit.

    • 382,772. Stringed musical instruments. DITTMANN, H., 23, Kleine Eschenheimerstrasse, Frankfort - on - Main, Germany. Nov. 18, 1931, No. 32022. [Class 88 (ii).] In a keyboard stringed instrument the guideelement for deflecting the reciprocating bar carrying the plectrum so that the plectrum, with movement in one direction, is applied to the strings, and with movement in the other direction is kept clear of the strings, is mounted on a fixed pivot. Fig. 1 shows one construction in plan. The reciprocating bar a moves between two pins e, f, a spring g on the bar contacting with the pin f. The deflecting means comprises a gravity-piece ! i which is pivoted at i , Fig. 3, and is provided with a head k and with a stop l at one side. With movement towards the left, a lug h, carried by the bar a and having inclined faces, presses the catch k against the stop l and causes compression of the spring g with application of the plectrum c to the strings d. On return, the lug h passes on the other side of the catch k which moves away from the stop l. In Fig. 4 a spring catch p on the bar a turns a pivoted square or prism m so that one corner moves the bar a transversely and applies the plectrum, the succeeding side of the piece m holding the catch p compressed during the return movement.
