摘要： A method for automatically stitching by a zigzag sewing machine a button hole, which includes two line-tack stitching parts stitched sequentially, comprises applying a predetermined amount of fabric feeding to a first group of alternate stitches in both line-tack stitching parts, and then applying no fabric feeding to a second group of alternate stitches in the line-tack stitching parts by not moving the fabric relative to the needle in any direction. Inclined stitches and non-inclined stitches which alternate with each other result in each line-tack stitching part.

The sewing machine is provided with a device including a neon lamp and a light interrupting member. The sewing machine has on its exposed front surface lighting indicators which are illuminated by the light of the neon lamp if this light is transmitted by the interrupting member which is mounted on or in the vicinity of the movable device for vertical movement of the needle so that the indicators indicate in the inoperative position of the sewing machine that the thread may be passed in a thread passing device.

The manual signals can be produced separately for adjusting the needle lateral amplitude and the fabric feed independently from each other to thereby stitch a deformed configuration of the stitch pattern, but the machine is so designed that the needle lateral amplitude and the fabric feed are simultaneously adjusted by one and the same manual signal in response to operation of one of the adjusting dials for proportionally enlarging or reducing the automatically controlled size of the stitch pattern with its configuration being unchanged.

摘要： A sewing machine with an electronic memory stores stitch control signals which are sequentially read out in synchronism with rotation of the upper drive shaft to control at least one of the needle swinging amplitude and the feeding amount or both. Pattern selecting switches are operated to select a pattern of stitches, each stitch being produced by the needle swinging amplitude and feeding amount predetermined by a selected set of stitch control signals of the memory. Manually influenced stitch adjusting means vary either the needle swinging amplitude or feeding amount for fine adjustment of the selected pattern.

The circuit includes a controller, thyristors for controlling the rotation of the motor in dependence upon the operation of the controller, operational amplifiers activated in dependence upon the operation of the controller to produce a speed designating voltage, a frequency - voltage converter which receives a frequency representing the speed of rotation of the main shaft of the sewing machine, a comparator for comparing that speed designating voltage with the voltage of the frequency-voltage converter to detect a motor drive phase, and a light emitting diode and a phototransistor activated by the motor drive phase and operative for controlling the ignition phase of those thyristors.

摘要： An arrangement for forming patterns made up of stitches includes a memory, a stitch-forming apparatus, an addressing device and a synchronizing device. The memory has a plurality of outputs and a plurality of address signal inputs and is comprised of a plurality of storage units connected to the inputs and outputs and addressable by address signals applied to the address signal inputs of the memory. The stitch-forming apparatus has a plurality of stitch control signal inputs connected to outputs of the memory and operative for producing any of a plurality of different stitches in dependence upon the signals produced at the outputs of the memory. The addressing device is operative when activated for applying to the address signal inputs of the memory next-address signals derived from the signals produced at the outputs of the memory itself. The synchronizing device activates the addressing device repeatedly and in synchronism with the operation of the switch-forming apparatus.
