摘要： A control module may be used for raising and lowering a window shade. This configuration allows a user to pull the operating cord a predetermined distance to raise the window shade, then release the operating cord until it has retracted, and then pull the operating cord another predetermined distance to raise the window shade again. A brake mechanism is operably connected to a brake release and configured to lock or unlock the drive axle. A clutch is adapted to be mounted on the axle for selectively engaging the cord drum to the axle. The cord drum may rotate independent of the drive axle when a clutch is disengaged from the drive axle. As a result, movement of the operating cord will not cause the window shade to raise while the clutch is disengaged. When the clutch is engaged with the drive axle, the cord drum and adapter sleeve may rotate together to drive the rotation of the drive axle for raising the window shade.

The clutch module includes a reciprocator element that engages a key extending from an outer surrounding housing. A locking member between the reciprocator element and a coupling element carried by the drive shaft selectively locks and unlocks rotational coupling between the reciprocator element and the coupling element, thus selectively locking and unlocking the drive shaft. A cushioning mechanism, a unidirectional dampening or frictional deceleration is provided for the drive shaft. The cushioning mechanism includes an impeller or rotor immersed in a cushion medium that impedes rotation of the rotor, and hence the drive shaft to which the rotor is coupled.

摘要： An apparatus for treating the exhausted smoked from a chimney by precipitation has a smoke collecting device placed at the exhaust of the chimney and a vapour injecting nozzle to spray high speed vapour over the smoke from the chimney into the collecting device. A water tank for receiving the mixture of the vapour and the smoke and precipitating the same with the water contained therein is connected to the collecting device by a conduit. The conduit is provided with suction means to accelerate the flow of the mixture of the vapour and the smoke to the tank. The water tank may also be equipped with set of vapour spraying devices and a smoke filtering web for preventing the possible leakage of smoke from the water tank. A preferred embodiment has two opposing collecting devices, each provided with its own conduit, suction means, and tank.
