    • The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for transmitting control information in a multiple component carrier system. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: calculating an integration field value on the basis of an index value of a component carrier, a priority for transmitting, on a main component carrier, a PDCCH for the main component carrier or a PDCCH for a sub-main component carrier, and/or a transmission power control value for the PDCCH for the main component carrier; mapping the integration field value to a plurality of transmission fields in downlink control information of the PDCCH for the main component carrier; and transmitting the downlink control information to a terminal via the PDCCH for the main component carrier. According to the present invention, the multiple component carrier system transmits additional control information without adding bits, and thus uses a limited wireless resource in an efficient manner.

According to the present invention, the base station may reduce the overhead of a control region of a main serving cell, and the terminal may reduce the number of detection trials performed according to blind decoding for monitoring a downlink control channel.

According to the present invention, the invention is capable of overcoming a PDCCH capacity limit due to a wireless resource in a limited control region.

In the ordering step, the bundled HARQ ACK/NACK signals are ordered such that the signals are uniformly distributed to each dual coder. The method for processing a HARQ ACK/NACK signal according to the present invention may be performed in a terminal which transmits a HARQ ACK/NACK signal in PUCCH format 3 in a time division duplex (TDD) environment.
