Preference is given to (saturated) paraffinic/naphthenic process oils used in quantities of between 10 parts by mass and at maximum concentrations corresponding to 20 to 400 parts by mass, in relation to 100 parts by mass of the spinal polymer, taking account of the dry-flowing consistency of the spinal polymer to be maintained.

    • Functionalized olefinic homo- and copolymers with set levels of crosslinking are produced by radical solid phase graft polymerization of alpha , beta -ethylenically unsaturated compounds with functional groups (functional monomers) such as, in particular, mono- and dicarboxylic acids or their anhydrides, epoxides and hydroxides, amines, amides and imides, alone or mixed with comonomers from the series of monovinylaromates, acrylates or methacrylates and monovinylesters, backbone polymers or elastomers based on completely or predominately olefinic units, having different degrees of branchings in the range of 0 to 400 CH3 end groups per 1000 carbon atoms and types of branching, in particular aliphatic short-chain branchings, including those linked via ester (or carboxyl) groups, and/or long-chain branchings, and with an average molar mass in the range of 5 x 10 to 5 x 10 g/mol.
