    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an efficient crystallization and drying of polymer granule to be carried out by a method wherein inert gas medium is supplied into a specified region of a polymer granule accumulation floor in a system in which polymer granules are crystallized and dried within an outer shell formed with a vertical processing chamber, and shrunk into solid state as required. SOLUTION: Polymer granular particles are loaded from a connecting section 1 into a vertical device 2 and filled up to a height level of 500mm above an inert gas inlet 4, thereafter the inert gas medium supplied from the connecting section 4 heats the polymer granular particles together with inert gas medium fed from a connecting section 5 so as to crystalize the granular particles. At this time, forming of the condensed material is prevented by supplying medium from the connecting section 4 in a form of inert gas pulsation flow, the supplied inert gas flow passes from an outlet port 6 through a gas refining system and a heat exchanger system and refined there. The crystallized polymer granular particles are taken out of a connecting section 7. Then, a processing chamber 3 which can be cooled or heated is frushed with inert gas through a connecting section 5 so as to remove discharged volatile substance.
