摘要： The current invention relates to a semiconductor wafer heater assembly having a frosted clear quartz material for the wafer susceptor (6) that is placed between the heater (8) and the wafer (7) such that at certain wavelengths of the emitted radiant energy from the heater (8), the frosted clear quartz material is 'thermally transmissive' to the thermal radiation from the infrared region. The heater assembly is characterized in that the top quartz plate or susceptor (6) on which the wafer (7) is supported is made of a material that is not "optically transmissive " but is more than 90% "thermally transmissive" to infrared emission that is shorter than 3.5 micrometer wavelength and having higher tolerance and mechanical strength than conventional clear quartz material.

摘要： Successive percussion sounds generated by the engagement of a caterpillar chain (29) with a sprocket (25) are reduced. A caterpillar bearing block (34) is provided on an upper reinforcement plate (19) of a bracket (15) on a sprocket side. Lower surfaces of respective links (30), which constitute the caterpillar (29), are in sliding contact with a caterpillar surface (36B) of a skid block (36), which constitutes the caterpillar bearing block (34), whereby the caterpillar (29) is guided to be tangentially wrapped around the sprocket (25). Therefore, vertical movements of the caterpillar (29) when wrapped around the sprocket (25) into a polygonal shape can be suppressed, so that it is possible to reduce successive percussion sounds generated when bushes (32) of the caterpillar (29) engage with the sprocket (25).

Accordindly, a vibration transmissibility of pitching transmitted from a revolving frame (4) to the operator's cabin boby (11) can be kept small, and pitching is damped by an oil damper (25) which constitutes the rubber mount (13). Further, bounce and rolling transmitted to the operator's cabin body (11) are converted into pitching for attenuation of vibration.
