    • An electrical machine, in particular a generator, is specified which has a stator (12) with a laminated stator core (121) clamped in between two bearing plates (14, 15), and a polyphase stator winding (13) which is held therein and has winding sections, each with a section start (A) and a section end (E), and has a rectifier, which is composed of rectifier diodes, and a connecting plate (34), which is arranged on a bearing plate (14), in order to make the electrical connection between the rectifier (30) and the stator winding (13), on which connecting lugs which lead to the rectifier diodes are provided.
