摘要： A touch system includes a touch sensing plane and a camera assembly that is positioned proximate the touch sensing plane. The camera assembly includes an image sensor and at least one virtual camera that has at least two fields of view associated with the touch sensing plane. The at least one virtual camera includes optical components that direct light that is proximate the touch sensing plane along at least one light path. The optical components direct and focus the light onto different areas of the image sensor.

摘要： A diagnostics apparatus for detecting fluorescence events related to the presence of an analyte in a sample is disclosed. The apparatus includes a housing, a source of excitation light (66) and a photodetector (70), and a unitary multi-surface optical module (62). The optical module (62) is integrally formed and composed of an upstream (63) portion having a focusing optical surface (80) for directing excitation light from the light source (66) to a focal region (60) within an analyte-detection zone (30) in the apparatus, and a downstream portion (65) having a second focusing powered optical surface and at least one reflecting surface for directing fluorescence-emission light produced by fluorescence events within the detection zone (30), in a direction substantially normal to the path of the excitation light onto the photodetector (70). The optical module (62) is adaptable to a variety of assay formats, including multiple-sample, sample-array, and disposable-cartridge formats.

摘要： The signal-to-noise ratio of a transimpedance operational amplifier is enhanced by employing a large feedback resistor. Bandwidth lost in the process recaptured by a compensation network without reducing the signal-to-noise ratio. The compensation network provides a zero which cancels the upper 3 db pole of the transimpedance amplifier, and also provides a high frequency pole defining the restored bandwidth of amplifier.
