    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plating device which is high in productivity, is simple in construction and is compact by making it possible to automate work for mounting, attaching and detaching lead frames and to execute a stage for removing the synthetic resin flashes adhered to these lead frames which is a pretreatment stage for a plating treatment stage with one device. SOLUTION: The lead frames 10 are inserted from above and are mounted by using a lead frame mounting mechanism to the inserting and holding parts 39 of lead frame holders 3 which have electrodes (cathodes) and hold plural sheets of the lead frames 10 mountablly, attachably and detachably in an erecting state in parallel. The plural lead frame holders 3 mounted with the lead frames 10 are circulated while these holders are successively moved and lifted intermittently in synchronization by moving and lifting mechanisms between plural treating vessels disposed in continuation and, thereafter, the lead frames 10 mounted in the inserting and holding parts of the lead frame holders 3 are pulled off from above by using the lead frame attaching and detaching mechanisms, by which the lead frames are detached.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid electrical trouble and to form a uniform plating layer on a material by providing plural feed terminals on the inner periphery of the outer diameter of a cylindrical barrel and connecting the terminal to a sliding contact at the center of rotation through a protected conductor. CONSTITUTION:Plural feed terminals 4 of a hard conductive material are provided at regular intervals on the inner periphery of the outer diameter of an octagonal-sectioned cylindrical barrel 3 of PVC, etc. The barrel 3 is rotated in a plating soln., a power is supplied to the terminal 4, hence a material and the terminal 4 are uniformly energized, and a plating layer is electrodeposited. The terminal 4 is brought into contact with a conductor 5 on the terminal side through a screw. Meanwhile, the conductor 5 is protected by a conductor cover 16 of PVC, etc., on the barrel side, kept away from the plating soln. and connected to the contact 6. Consequently, the trouble due to the cutting of a cable, defective contact, etc., is not caused as in the case of the conventional barrel plating device.

CONSTITUTION:The plural body plates 31b to 31d... having the isosceles triangle shape or trapezoidal shape (the body plates 31a, 31h at both ends are formed to a right-angled triangle shape for the purpose of forming the apertures for inlet and outlet of the works) are arranged in such a manner that the bases of the isosceles triangle shapes exist alternately between the adjacent body plates. The body parts 31 of the cylindrical barrels 3 are assembled by fixing the bases of the isosceles triangle shapes to side plates 32 in such a manner that the hypotenuses of the isosceles triangle shapes constitute ridges. Plating treatment is executed by rotationally driving such cylindrical barrel 3, by which the purposes are achieved and the uniform plating layers are efficiently formed.

    • PURPOSE:To rapidly and perfectly house and discharge objects to be plated by dividing cylindrical parts of a barrel for plating in parallel with a supporting shaft and relatively shifting the positions of side face plates of the divided cylindrical parts to form an aperture. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical part of the barrel 1 for plating is equally divided to the two semi-polygonal columnar cylindrical parts 6a, 6b parallel with the supporting shaft 3. Both side parts of the cylindrical plates constituting the cylindrical parts 6a, 6b are provided with the side face plates 7a, 7b. The axial length of the cylindrical part 6a is set longer than the length in the cylindrical part 6b and the barrel is so assembled that the side face plate 7a exists on the outer side of the side face plate 7b. The cylindrical parts 6a, 6b are provided with detaining members 9 in the proper positions of the cylindrical plates constituting these parts. The positions of the side face plates 7a, 7b are relatively shifted around the opening/closing supporting shaft 8 in the state of directing the positions provided with the detaining members 9 to the upper side. As a result, the opening is formed between the cylindrical plates constituting the cylindrical parts 6a, 6b. The objects to be plated are housed into the barrel 1 from this opening.

SOLUTION: This plating device is constituted of plural treating vessels 1 successively arranged in an annual form, plural lead frame-holding bodies 2 having chuck parts 3 which are used in common with an electrode and hold the plural lead frames 10 in a hanging state in parallel and circulate while successively moving among the plural treating vessels 1, and a moving device for successively synchronizing and intermittently moving the lead frame-holding bodies 2 among the treating vessels, and allows the lead frames 1 to pass through slits formed on the peripheral walls of the treating vessels 1 when the lead frame-holding bodies 2 are moving.
