摘要： A process for the preparation of white and brown sugar from raw diffuser beet juice. The juice is purified by membrane filtration at 70-95 °C on a filter having a molecular weight cut-off between 2,000 and 500,000 Dalton and evaporated to a dry matter content of between 60 and 80% by weight under vacuum to a thick juice. A conventional multi-step evaporative crystallisation of the thick juice gives crops of white and brown sugar crystals. The brown sugar obtained have valuable organoleptic properties.

摘要： A method for the continuous drying of a material. The temperature of the material is adjusted to below the boiling point of the material at atmospheric pressure. The material is fed into a vacuum chamber and led through the vacuum chamber without heat supply. Then the dried material is removed through an air lock. The method can be carried out with an assembly comprising a means for adjusting the temperature of the material, a feeding means (8, 10) for feeding the material into a vacuum chamber (12), a vacuum chamber, a means of transport (112) for carrying the material through the vacuum chamber and an air lock (24). The method and assembly are useful for drying materials which are sensitive and/or difficult to solidify.

摘要： A method for preparing a mixture of fructose, glucose and compounds of the general formula GFn, wherein G is glucose and F is fructose and n is an integer. The mixture is recovered from plant tubers or roots by means of a method which does not involve any chemical modification of the components of the mixture. A juice or syrup comprising fructose, glucose, sucrose and oligosaccharides is subjected at one or more suitable steps to a physical separation process to reduce the amount of fructose, glucosse and sucrose. The physical separation may be carried out by chromatography or nanofiltration or both. The mixture is suitable for use in foodstuffs and beverages for human beings and animals.
