摘要： The invention relates to nitroalkanol derivatives of the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.2-12 alkenyl or alkadienyl group, a C.sub.4-12 alkoxyalkyl or alkoxyalkenyl group having one or more C.sub.1-3 alkyl substituents, a C.sub.3-6 cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl group, a furyl group, a nitrofuryl group, or a phenyl group having optionally one or more identical or different substituents selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, halogen, nitro, C.sub.1-4 alkylenedioxy and C.sub.1-4 alkenoyloxy groups,R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 each represent hydrogen or they form together a valence bond,R.sub.3 is a C.sub.1-12 alkanoyloxy group, a benzoyloxy group having optionally one or more halogen substituents or hydrogen atom, andR.sub.5 is a C.sub.1-12 alkyl group or a phenyl group having optionally one or more halogen substituents,with the proviso that if R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 each stand for hydrogen, R.sub.1 is other than unsubstituted phenyl and R.sub.3 may represent only a C.sub.1-4 alkanoyloxy group or a benzoyloxy group having optionally one or more halogen substituents, and with the further proviso that if R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 form together a valence bond and R.sub.5 is methyl, R.sub.1 is other than unsubstituted phenyl.The nitroalkenol derivatives defined above as well as the known 1-phenyl-2-nitro-3-acetoxy-propane-1 possess valuable pesticidal effects, primarily fungicidal activities, and can be applied to advantage in the agriculture as plant protecting agents.

摘要： The invention relates to novel nortropine-carbazate derivatives of the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is C.sub.1-4 alkyl, phenyl or halophenyl group,R.sub.2 is hydrogen or a C.sub.1-4 alkyl, hydroxy-C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 acyl, phenoxycarbonyl or C.sub.1-4 alkoxycarbonyl group, andR.sub.3 is hydrogen of a C.sub.1-4 alkyl or C.sub.1-4 acyl group, orR.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may form together a C.sub.1-10 alkylene group attachedTo the nitrogen atom with a double bond, as well as to pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts of said compounds.The above compounds are new and can be applied as narcosis potentiating agents.The compounds of the general formula (I) can be prepared by reacting a compound of the general formula (II), ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 is as defined above and Q is halogen, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy or phenoxy, with a hydrazine compound of the general formula (III), ##STR3## wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are as defined above. According to another method a compound of the general formula (II), wherein R.sub.1 and Q are as defined above, is reacted with hydrazine or hydrazine hydrate, and the resulting compound of the general formula (I), wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are hydrogens and R.sub.1 is as defined above, is converted into the corresponding N-substituted derivatives by methods known in the art.

摘要： The invention relates to a novel process for producing the threo- and erythro-isomers of 1-phenyl-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol through the aldol-type alkaline condensation of benzaldehyde and nitroethanol, wherein the reaction mixture is acidified and, if desired, the isomers are separated from the obtained isomer mixture and the obtained isomers are transformed into each other through epimerization, characterized in that the condensation and, if desired, also the epimerization are carried out in the presence of catalytical amounts of an alkaline hydroxide.The process according to the invention makes it possible to produce 1-phenyl-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol, an intermediate of the antibiotic chloramphenicol, in high yields, and in an extremely advantageous way which can be carried out simply and economically even on an industrial scale.
