摘要： The invention provides highly concentrated aqueous solutions of a first amphoteric surfactant, especially of betaines or amine oxides, which comprise one or more further amphoteric cosurfactants which have a different structure from the first amphoteric surfactant, in amounts by weight of from 0.01 % to 10%, preferably from 0.1% to 5%, more preferably from 0.5% to 3%, based on the highly concentrated aqueous solution.

摘要： The present invention provides aqueous compositions comprising, as well as water, 75% to 90% by weight of alkyl polyethylene glycol ether sulfates which are a mixture of compounds of formula (1) R1—O—(CH2—CH2—O)x—SO3M (1) where R1 is a branched alkyl or alkenyl group having 8 to 14 carbon atoms and at least one tertiary carbon atom, x is from 3 to 15, M is an alkali metal ion or an ammonium ion, with compounds of formula (2) R2—O—(CH2—CH2—O)y—SO3M′ (2) where R2 is a linear alkyl or alkenyl group having 8 to 14 carbon atoms, y is from 3 to 15, M′ is an alkali metal ion or an ammonium ion, wherein the mixing ratio of compounds of formulae (1) and (2) is chosen such that the compounds of formula (1) comprise at least 10% by weight and at most 99% by weight of the total amount of compounds of formulae (1) and (2).

摘要： Novel water-soluble homo- or copolymers are described which comprise 1,1-diallyl-3,4-dimethylenepyrrolidinium cations in the polymer and can additionally include 1,1-dialkyl-3,4-dimethylenepyrrolidinium cations. The polymers are prepared by first polymerizing a diallylammonium salt of the formula [(CH.sub.2 .dbd.CH--CH.sub.2).sub.2 NH.sub.2 ].sup.+ X.sup.- in which X.sup.- is the anion of any Bronstedt acid and, preferably, a halide, alone or together with an unsaturated comonomer, and reacting the resulting polymer or copolymer with a base and an allyl halide. The novel polymers are preferably used for treating textiles.

摘要： A process is described for the preparation of aqueous solutions of betaines of the formula ##STR1## in which: R.sup.1 is an alkyl radical having 6 to 22 carbon atoms or is a radical of the formula R'CONH(CH.sub.2).sub.z --, in which R' has the meaning of R.sup.1 and z is 2, 3 or 4, R.sup.2 is an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or is a radical of the formula --(CH.sub.2).sub.m --OH, in which m is 1, 2 or 3, R.sup.3 is an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or is a radical of said formula --(CH.sub.2).sub.m --OH and y is 1, 2 or 3. The aqueous betaine solutions are prepared by quaternization of the corresponding tertiary amines with an .omega.-halocarboxylic acid and with an alkali metal hydroxide in the aqueous phase. The quaternization is carried out continuously in two or three stirred tanks arranged in a cascade, defined process characteristics being maintained in each tank. Using the novel process, aqueous betaine solutions are obtained in high yield and purity in a simple manner.
