    • The invention provides a method and device for forming images by nuclear magnetic resonance in which an image is constructed by discrimination of the intrinsic parameters of the tissues examined. The image is formed by putting forward the degrees of attachment and mobility of the nuclei of the tissues. The parameters displayed represent the field heterogeneities at the microscopic and molecular levels. The method consists in acquiring a first image using conventional methods then, after slightly varying the orientater magnetic field, in acquiring another image using the same methods. Then an image of another type is formed by representing the relative variations of the relaxation times between this first and this second image.

    • The invention relates to a fluidized medical bed.According to the invention, the receptacle (3) of this bed comprises: a lower wall (4); a porous bottom (5) disposed close to the lower wall, covered by a layer of granular constituents (22) and formed in several parts, the upper surfaces of which are inclined towards a waste collector (6, 7) which comprises a reservoir placed below the porous bottom, connected to the lower part of one of said parts (5) of the porous bottom, and comprising a first part (6) fast with the porous bottom, terminated by a shut-off valve (10) provided with a first leakproof coupling (8), and the second part (7) detachably fixed to said coupling (8).The invention finds an application in the production of a medical bed which is inexpensive to use.

Prising-tools for removing capsules; corkscrews.-A capsule-remover of the kind comprising a handle terminating in a hook member has the hook member formed with a pair of parallel cheeks 1, Figs. 1 and 3, and is provided on one side of its recess with a beak 3 to engage beneath the edge of the capsule, the hook on the opposite side of its recess being adapted to bear on the top of the capsule and portions of the cheeks 1 on the capsule edge. Other devices such as corkscrews, bung-picks, tin-openers, knives, hooks, &c. may be combined with the capsule-remover. The cheeks 1 are curved back on the inner side, and one or more points may be provided at the base or at the end of the hook to bear on the centre of the capsule. Figs. 1 and 3 show a corkscrew 11 mounted on a pin 9 in lugs 8, a sliding ring 10 being provided to embrace the lugs and the end of the corkscrew and hold the tool in operative position. A tin-opener, consisting of a blade 13 mounted on a pin 14 and adapted to act with the beak 3, may be provided, and also a cutting-point 15 for opening soldered tins. The handle 5 may have an opening 6 out of which a slot opens to serve as a button-hook. A slit 7 in the handle is for use in opening tins with bands or strips of metal. Fig. 5 shows a simple capsule remover with the beak 3 and the end 2 of the hook toothed or provided with points 16, 18.
