    • A load of an apparatus of a communications network is evaluated and handover parameters to be advertized for mobile station decided handover are adapted accordingly. Moreover, radio resource management information may be exchanged between the apparatus and at least one neighboring apparatus in the communications network, and a load of the at least one neighboring apparatus may be evaluated from the exchanged radio resource management information. The handover parameters to be advertized may be adapted in case the evaluated load of the apparatus and the evaluated load of the at least one neighboring apparatus have reached predetermined limits. As a result, mobile stations of a communications network system are provided with modified handover parameters which induce the mobile stations to make a handover decision as desired by a network infrastructure.
