    • PURPOSE:To increase a life of bellows to be used for a refrigerator by providing as operating substance, the bellows to be elongated and contracted according to a cooling operation of the gas filled therein, and pressure difference eliminating means for eliminating a pressure difference between a pressure in the bellows and a pressure out of the bellows. CONSTITUTION:One end of bellows 1 for constituting an expanding unit is connected to a piston rod 11, and the other end of the bellows 1 is connected to a jacket 2 through a bellows fixing material 14. The jacket 2 is fixed to a vacuum tank 3 through a jacket supporting material 15. The jacket 2 is provided outside the bellows 1. An upper end of a cylinder 17 above the jacket 2 and a connecting member 19 of an upper part of a tube having a narrow interval to the cylinder 17 are sealed with rubber bellows 13, and gas is sealed in this intermediate pressure area. In order to maintain a pressure in the jacket constant, the intermediate region is connected to a space in the bellows 1 by a leakage part having low conductance. As the leakage part, a tube 21 of a pinhole is provided at the material 14.

    • PURPOSE:To generate a highly uniform magnetic field even when a ferromagnetic exists without making a space inside a cylindrical magnetic shield useless by a method wherein a coil is arranged so as to come into contact with the inside of the shield in such a way that it is arranged along an axial direction of a cylindrical part at the cylindrical part of the cylindrical magnetic shield composed of the ferromagnetic provided with the bottom part and that it is situated, at the bottom part, perpendicularly to a direction generating the uniform magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid coil 200 is arranged so as to come into internal contact with the side and the bottom of a cylindrical ferromagnetic shield 100. When the magnetic shield 100 is provided with the bottom whose permeability is high, the solenoid coil 200 can generate a uniform magnetic field which is equal to that of twice a length of a shield cylinder in consideration of a mirror- image effect of the bottom. Since an influence at the upper end is estimated to be about e , a nonuniformity of a magnetic field on an axis at the inside from about twice Ro becomes 1% or lower.
