摘要： A tamper-resistant cash box combination including a cash box support structure (1) defining a storage cavity (13) accessible through a front opening (15), a closed cash box (25) sized to fit snugly into the structure containing a front panel (39) for fitting flush with the structure front opening (15), the front panel (39) forming a first slot (53) therethrough for passing currency and the like into the box (25), a bolt (55) inside the cash box (25) in slidable engagement with the front panel (39), the bolt (55) defined by a top end (65) and a bottom end (67), and a lock (77) on the cash box front panel (39) for moving the bolt (55) upward to cover the first slot (53) and downward through a second slot (73) formed in the bottom (31) of the cash box (25) into a third slot (75) formed in the bottom (5a) of the structure (1) to lock the cash box (25) in the structure (1) where actuation of the lock (77) in one direction locks the cash box (25) in the structure (1) and simultaneously opens the currency-passing first slot (53) for access to the interior of the cash box (25) and actuation of the lock (77) in the other direction unlocks the cash box (25) from the structure (1) for removal therefrom and simultaneously closes the currency-passage first slot (53) to prevent further access to the interior of the cash box (25).
