    • Methods and systems for normalizing client access to data are provided. In one aspect, a method for accessing data in an automation system is provided. The method includes publishing at least one resource for at least one device and transmitting, from a client to the at least one device, a request to identify any available operations for the at least one published resource. The method also includes transmitting to the client a user interface generated by the at least one device in response to a client request for information relating to a chosen operation of the at least one published resource, and displaying results of the chosen operation in response to a client request to execute the chosen operation.

    • A system (10) for measuring electomagnetic emissions from electronic devices includes a semi-anechoic chamber (12), a computer (14), and EMI receiver (42), and a multi-device controller (16). The chamber houses devices being tested and test equipment for automated for automated emissions scanning. The computer receives emissions data from test equipment housed within and outside the chamber and operates a multi-device controller which controls the test equipment. The method includes wide-band measurements of emissions, narrow-band measurements of emissions chosen from the wide-band measurement, determining a maximum quasi-peak value for optimal cable and wiring position, and communication results to a word-processing program (38) to report measured values against testing limits.
