SOLUTION: The IR camera comprises optical receiving means for focusing infra-red radiation received from the object onto a focal plane array, processing means for receiving and processing the data from the focal plane array to form a thermal video, presentation means for presenting the thermal video and storage means for storing the thermal video. According to the invention, the IR camera further comprises receiving means for receiving information on humidity of at least one measuring point on the object from at least one humidity sensor arranged to provide humidity information and transferring the humidity information to the processing means, the processing means being arranged to include the humidity information in the thermal video.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared camera having an excellent portability and allowing a user to easily handle it with one hand.SOLUTION: This handheld infrared camera includes a lens assembly 2, an electric energy source 5, and a processing means 6 for recording and processing information received via the lens assembly. An extensible-shape housing 3 is provided in which the lens assembly 2 is mounted on one end, and the other end 4 is formed as a handle for an user, preferably, its longitudinal axis 21 is relatively tilt with respect to the optical axis 22 of the lens assembly to form an angle α. This infrared camera further includes a manual control means allowing one-handed operation, and a control means by visual perception allowing the user to view when the camera is held and operated away from the eyes and the body of a camera user. This camera is used for an inspection camera and has a means for wirelessly transmitting information from the camera.

SOLUTION: The infrared-ray camera is provided with a storage device for storing data received through an antenna for providing radio communication, and radio communication equipment, together with an image recorded by the camera. The camera also includes a signal conversion unit for converting commands received through the antenna to a command form recognized by the camera, and the antenna is arranged to communicate with radio user communication equipment. As a communication means, not a cable but a short-distance radio communication is used, thereby providing the infrared-ray camera which has flexibility and immunity to signal disturbance.
