The bioinspired system includes an order structure which emulates functions of retinas of the primates, analyzes the original digital image received by a data input part to detect color attributes in the original digital image, and generates output information formed of a set of data representing the color attributes in the original digital image and prescribed with respective pixels of the original digital image. The system has an emulator group constituting virtual retinas, each emulator is parameterized and generates a first color channel (a) and a second color channel (b) of an output signal group, and a bipolar cell emulator group generates a third channel (A) of the output signal group through a horizontal cell emulator group.

摘要： Generator systems and methods are provided for generating a neuromuscular-to-motion decoder from a healthy limb. The generator system is configured to receive neuromuscular signals from neuromuscular sensors associated to predefined muscle/nerve locations of at least one pair of agonist and antagonist muscles/nerves of the healthy limb, obtained during performance by the person of a predefined exercise (defined by predefined exercise data) with the healthy limb; to receive motion signals from motion sensors associated to predefined positions of the healthy limb, during performance by the person of the predefined exercise with the healthy limb; and to generate the neuromuscular-to-motion decoder by mapping the neuromuscular signals to the motion signals over time using a mapping method. Rehabilitation systems are also provided for rehabilitating a paretic limb by using a neuromuscular-to-motion decoder produced by a generator system.

摘要： The present invention provides a modified strain of the bacterium Lactococcus lactis obtainable by a method that comprises a step of fusion of two protoplasts from two Lactococcus lactis parental strains which, compared to the wild type strain of Lactococcus lactis from which they derive, show: (a) an increased ability to produce acetoin and/or 2,3-butanediol (2,3-BDO), and (b) a decreased ability to produce lactic acid, when cultured under aerobic conditions, and wherein the modified strain of Lactococcus lactis has an increased ability to produce 2,3-BDO of at least 20 times the amount produced by the wild type strain, an increased ability to produce acetoin of at least 20 times the amount produced by the wild type strain and a decreased ability to produce lactic acid of at least 10 times the amount produced by the wild type strain, when cultured under aerobic conditions. Also provided are methods to produce acetoin and 2,3-BDO.

摘要： Systems for visually inspecting a surface of an object are provided, which includes a visual inspection head, and a positioning apparatus for controlling a position and/or an orientation of the visual inspection head with respect to the object. The visual inspection head includes a visual inspection module, and an angle controlling module for ensuring a predetermined angle of the visual inspection system with respect to an area to be inspected of the surface of the object. The angle controlling module may include a pointer for projecting a light beam onto the area to be inspected and a camera for determining whether the light beam is reflected substantially perpendicularly. The system is configured to move the visual inspection head relative to the object until the light beam is reflected substantially perpendicularly. Methods for visually inspecting a surface are also provided.
