CONSTITUTION:The objective thermosetting resin can be obtained by reaction on heating to 160-300 deg.C, between (A) a raw material consisting mainly of a condensed polycyclic aromatic compound (e.g., pyrene) and (B) a crosslinking agent consisting mainly of a second aromatic compound having at least two hydroxymethyl or halomethyl groups (e.g., p-xylylene glycol) in the presence of such an amount of an acid catalyst (e.g., p-toluenesulfonic acid) as to be 0.02-0.20wt% based on the total amount of the components A and B.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a high-performance, economically advantageous surfactant for use as a dispersant for a high-concn. coal-water slurry, by conducting sulfonation and oxidation of an oil fraction, petroleum pitch, asphalt, coal distillate, coal pitch, etc., optionally by condensation with formaldehyde. CONSTITUTION:A high-concn. coal-water slurry is obtd. by making use of a surfactant obtd. by either of the following methods as a dispersant. Method (1): a hydrocarbon having an MW of at least 170 and an H to C atomic ratio of 0.5-1.7 and comprised of at least one member selected from among an oil fraction, petroleum pitch, asphalt, coal distillate, coal pitch, and coal is sulfonated and oxidized, followed by neutralization with an alkali (pref. sodium hydroxide). Method (II): a condensation reaction of the sulfonation and oxidation product prepared in method I with formaldehyde, followed by neutralization with an alkali. Pref., the sulfonation is conducted with sulfuric anhydride, and the oxidation is conducted with a nitrogen oxide.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable petroleum coke having poor combustibility as fuel to be burnt in oil-fored boilers, by mixing petroleum coke with pitch, crushing the mixtue and adjusting its ash content and volatile matter content. CONSTITUTION:Petroleum coke is mixed with pitch in such a proportion that petroleum coke accounts for not more than 80wt% of the mixture. The mixture is crushed into a powder having such a particle size distribution that at least 70% of particles is passed through a 200-mesh sieve. The ash content and the volatile matter content of the powder are then adjusted so that the ash content is 2wt% or below and the volatile matter content is 20wt% or above. Examples of the petroleum coke are fluid coke, flexi coke and delayed coke abtd. by thermally cracking heavy oil by a coking process. Examples of the pitch are asphalt as solvent deasphalting residue, coal pitch and petroleum pitch obtd. by thermally cracking heavy petroleum oil with superheated steam.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain excellent performance of atomization even for a fluid of high viscosity, by heating primary air to heat a cup existent in contact with said primary air, so that the viscosity of the fluid to be atomized is lowered by raising its temp. CONSTITUTION:A cup 12 is fixedly provided at one end of a shaft 16 rotatably supported with a bearing 18, and a means 22 for rotating a cup is connected to the shaft 16. A fluid to be atomized is supplied to the inner surface of the cup 12 by a feeder 24, while the outside of the cup 12 is surrounded with a primary air nozzle 34. In this rotary cup atomizer 10, air to be supplied to the primary air nozzle 34 is heated. Hence, the cup 12 is heated so that the viscosity of the fluid to be atomized is lowered by raising its temp. Thus, the excellent performance of atomization is obtained even for a fluid of high viscosity.
