    • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Leiterplatten mit mit einem Lotauftrag zu versehenden Lotpads, die zunächst mit einer eine Belotung verhindernden Begrenzungsschicht definierter Dicke umgeben werden; sodann wird die Leiterplatte in ein Lotbad eingebracht, in dem die zu belotenden Bereiche mit einem Abschlußelement abgedeckt werden; beim Ausbringen der Leiterplatte aus dem Bad herausgebracht wird durch die Abdeckung eine Trennung der eingeschlossenen Lotvolumina von dem im Tauchbad oder in der Lotkammer befindlichen flüssigen Lot erzielt, dabei werden in den über den Lotpads befindlichen Hohlräumen entsprechende Lotvolumina definiert. Dies hat den Vorteil gegenüber dem Stand der Technik, daß die Abdeckung mit vereinfachten Mitteln durchführbar ist und der Formprozeß der Lotpads losgelöst vom eigentlichen Tauchbelotungsvorgang durchgeführt werden kann.
