摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a fluid-cooled jacket for cooling an air-swept distributor to prevent the deposition of a granular fuel having a relatively high-content of water and a low-temp. softening point and its burning by composing the jacket of a panel positioned in heat-exchange relation with a granular material distributor and a means for passing a cooling fluid for cooling the panel. CONSTITUTION: This fluid-cooled jacket 14 is used to cool a granular material (e.g. coal) distributor 10, and at least one panel 16 or 18 positioned in heat- exchange relation with the distributor 10 and means 24 and 28 and 40 and 42 for passing a cooling fluid (e.g. water) through the panel are provided. The inner side face of the distributor is cooled by the jacket, and hence the low- temp. fuel is adapted to the distributor without the deposition or burning of the fuel. Various fuels can be used in a fluidized-bed reactor by the cooling of the distributor.

摘要： PURPOSE: To reduce noise pulsation generated in a fan by providing a cylindrical rotor having a plurality of resonator cavities having various depths and rotating this in a casing to absorb sound pulses generated by the rotation of a fan impeller. CONSTITUTION: In a centrifugal fan assembly including a housing containing an impeller 22 equipped with a blade and placed on a rotary shaft, a rotary throat cutoff sound resonator 25 is attached to the housing 21 of the centrifugal fan assembly around the impeller 22 and near a discharge opening 29. This resonator 25 includes a partially downward casing 26 enveloping a part of a thin, long and cylindrical rotor 30. The rotor 30 includes a plurality of resonance cavities extended in a direction crossing a rotor axis and having various depths, supported in both ends rotatably by a bearing, driven by a transmission motor via a driving means such as a belt or a pulley, and thus noise pulsation generated by the fan 20 is suppressed.

Outer register blades 46 are pivotally disposed between the plates 30 and 32 such that they are turnable around their axes to control the vertex of the secondary air flow to air flow passages 42 and 44, and inner conformable blades 48 are disposed between the plates 30 and 38 such that they are turnable around their axes to control the vertex of secondary air flow passing through the annular passage 44.
