摘要： In a digital image administration method and system, a database of image records is maintained. Data sets are provided. The data sets are each associated with a respective image record. The data sets each include data in a plurality of the categories: capture related data, intrinsic image data, image usage data, and user reaction data. A plurality of the data sets have missing data in different combinations of the categories. A value index of each of the image records is generated from the respective data set. The image records are managed responsive to respective value indexes.

摘要： A method for providing video images to a remote viewer using a video communication system, comprising: operating a a video communication client in a local environment connected by a communications network to a remote viewing client in a remote viewing environment; capturing video images of the local environment; analyzing the captured video images with the video analysis component to detect ongoing activity within the local environment; characterizing the detected activity within the video images with respect to attributes indicative of remote viewer interest; determining whether acceptable video images are available; receiving an indication of whether the remote viewing client is engaged or disengaged; and transmitting the acceptable video images of the ongoing activity to the remote viewing client if the remote viewing client is engaged, or alternately, if the remote viewing client is disengaged, recording the acceptable video images into a memory.

摘要： Control of a head-mounted display includes providing a head-mounted display, the head-mounted display includes a switchable viewing area that is switched between a transparent viewing state and an information viewing state. The transparent viewing state is transparent with respect to the viewing area and enables a user of the head- mounted display to view the scene outside the head-mounted display in the user's line of sight. The information viewing state is opaque with respect to the viewing area and displays information in the switchable viewing area visible to a user of the head-mounted display. The viewing state automatically switches in response to an external stimulus notification.
