    • According to one or more aspects of the present invention, a receiver arrangement is disclosed that is configured to receive digital television signals. The receiver arrangement has at least one first frequency conversion device with the signal input, a local oscillator input and an output. The at least one first frequency conversion device is designed to convert a signal which is applied to the input side to an intermediate frequency. A first amplifier is also provided and is designed with amplification in order to compensate for the signal level loss in a filter which is connected downstream from the first amplifier. The first amplifier is coupled to the output of the frequency conversion device. An intermediate-frequency amplifier with a variable gain factor is also provided, and is coupled to the first amplifier. At least the at least one first frequency conversion device the first amplifier are formed in a common semiconductor body.

    • A circuit configuration for filtering a radio-frequency signal, in particular, in tuners for television sets, includes a control signal connection for feeding in a control signal, a controllable-frequency oscillator, at least one filter having an adjustable passband for a useful signal, and a device for providing a correction signal. The filters are, preferably, tracking filters whose filter band can be shifted by a control signal. At least one filter has a variable-frequency element with a first connection and a second connection. The first connection is coupled to the control signal connection, and the correction signal device is coupled to the second connection. For fine tuning production tolerances, the filters are supplied with a correction signal, which is applied to the other pole of the variable-frequency element of the filter as compared with the control signal. The value range of the correction signals is limited to the correction range and is much lower than the value range for the control signal.

    • Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a transceiver that includes multiple communication subunits associated with multiple communication protocols, respectively. The transceiver includes a conflict detection and control unit that determines whether interference is present or anticipated to occur between two or more of the communication subunits. If interference is present or anticipated, a local oscillator (LO) tuning unit changes an LO frequency provided to at least one of the two or more communication units. For example, in some embodiments, the LO tuning unit changes the LO frequency from high-side injection to low-side injection, or vice versa, or changes the intermediate frequency (IF) associated with a given communication subunit. In these ways, the techniques disclosed herein limit signal degradation due to interference from communication subunits residing within the transceiver.
